Marisa's focus is to surface unexpressed potential in individuals and teams by increasing their awareness of their impact, operative processes, and strategic thinking. She supports company owners, Presidents/CEOs and executives, as well as developing leaders, by reinforcing their motivation and power to handle the ordinary and the extraordinary within their companies.

Marisa was the CEO for 10 years of a fast-growing Italian company that provided businesses with language and communication training. Her firm was recognized as the most innovative company in its field by the most important local organization, the Industrialists' Association. She was also a board member of a consulting company headquartered in Milan.

In 2002, Marisa moved to Washington, D.C., where she earned an MA in Organizational Sciences-Organizational Management at George Washington University, with a specialization in Leadership Coaching. Since her return to Italy, Marisa has become a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and of the executive board of the Italian Coach Federation (FIC).
